Convergent

Make Something
Of All This

Everything you have lived through taught you something, and most of it stays invisible to the person who learned it. This is a long conversation for finding it and doing something with it, among other people.

What This Is

A conversation that keeps going.

You begin in your own AI account with a single question. When you stop, your AI hands you a short document to keep. Next time you paste it back in and carry on from there. That might happen twice, or for years, and both of those are a reasonable outcome.

The work is connecting things that usually stay in separate rooms: what you have actually done, what you turn out to be good at, what keeps pulling at you for no reason you can explain, who you care about, and the contradictions you have never resolved. What comes out of it is something you can put in front of another person. It might be a thing you teach, or build, or organize, or explain, or repair, or a gathering you convene, or one person you help get through something difficult. It might become paid work. It might stay a gift you give away. Both of those count here.

Nothing on this page promises you a purpose by Sunday. Useful things do sometimes surface in an hour, and the part where they change how you actually live keeps its own time. You can rest, double back, change your mind, or stop for six months and come back.

Begin

Two choices, and anything you feel like saying.

Where would you like to start?
How should it talk to you?

This stays in your browser. It is written into the text you copy, and it is never sent anywhere.

Composing needs JavaScript. Everything happens in your browser.

Continuing

Already started? Bring your checkpoint.

Your progress lives in the document your AI gave you and in your own chat history. This website has no record of it and cannot fetch it for you, because nothing you did was ever sent here. Visiting this page does not find your work; your file does.

Copy the text below, paste it into a new chat as your first message, and paste your checkpoint as your second. If you keep this in a project or a saved workspace, you only need the checkpoint.

Download it

If you have lost your checkpoint, paste this anyway and say so. It will start from what you remember and it will not pretend to remember more than you do.

Where It Happens

In your account, under your provider's rules.

This page composes the text and sends nothing. There is no account to make, no code to keep, no database behind this, and no server that reads what you typed. You can open your browser's network tab and watch it make no requests.

The conversation itself belongs to whichever AI you pick, and that company's data practices are the ones that apply to it. We can honestly say that nothing reaches us. We cannot tell you what your chosen provider retains, so if that matters to you, read their terms before you begin.

You decide what gets written down. The checkpoint is a file in your hands, and you can tell your AI to leave something out of it or describe it more vaguely. It will record that something was left out, without recording what.

Before You Begin

Three things worth knowing.

It will not tell you who you are. No essence, no calling, no hidden purpose revealed. It works with what you report and what you try, it says which is which, and anything you reject gets dropped rather than argued for.

Resting counts as part of it. There are no streaks, no reminders and no nudges to come back. Sometimes the useful move is making something, and sometimes it is putting it down.

“I don't know” is a real answer. Plenty of people arrive with nothing in particular to say. That is one of the four ways to start, and it works.
